The Lost Journals
The Lost Journals is a small business I founded from a love of great photography & clean, minimal design. Inspired by beautiful publications such as Cereal & Kinfolk I made custom photo books in the form of magazines – or as I liked to call them, Journals.
My intent was to re-imagine the traditional photo album, turning amazing bodies of work, milestones & travels into a one of a kind printed keepsake.
Created with photographers, enthusiasts & those who've enlisted the services of a pro in mind, I wanted the imagery for TLJ to have a professional yet attainable feel. I used natural light to achieve this & dramatic contrast to highlight both the product & photographers work inside.
